On 10 July, St. Petersburg Technopark OJSC signed a Cooperation Agreement with the International Consortium “St. Petersburg Cleantech Cluster for the Urban Environment.” The document establishes the format and framework of the cluster’s interaction with one of the Technopark’s divisions – the Cluster Development Center – under the implementation of joint programs. According to CDC representative Roman Galanin, one of the first such programs could involve joint work aimed at promoting cluster products and services in other RF regions and on the global markets.
The Cleantech Cluster for the Urban Environment was established on 2 October 2014; today, it encompasses more than 20 participating organizations. Priority areas of Cluster activities – creating conditions for the sustainable development of the urban environment, improving the efficiency and environmental-friendliness of technological solutions in the area of the urban economy and HPU.
The St. Petersburg Cleantech Cluster for the Urban Environment is a member of the Global Cleantech Cluster Association (GCCA), which unites 49 national Cleantech clusters representing more than 10,000 Cleantech companies worldwide, and is the cluster that promotes the interests of St. Petersburg’s HPU field.
